Leather Master Soft Cleaner

Safe, gentle, and effective cleaning for all leather types - including protected, aniline, nubuck, suede, and semi-aniline leather.

Leather Master Soft Cleaner is a professional-grade, water-based leather cleaner designed to safely remove everyday dirt and water-based stains without damaging the leather’s finish or natural characteristics.

  • Water-based and solvent-free formula
  • Safe for all leather types: Protected (Type P), Aniline (Type A), Semi-Aniline, Nubuck, and Suede
  • Removes everyday dirt and water-based stains
  • Will not strip finish, discolor, or dry out leather
  • Maintains leather’s original softness and appearance

Unlike harsh leather cleaners that contain alcohol or mineral spirits, Soft Cleaner is completely solvent-free. It cleans through gentle chemical action rather than abrasion, helping preserve both the protective topcoat on finished leather and the natural fiber structure of aniline, nubuck, and suede leathers.

This mild yet highly effective leather cleaner removes most common soiling while keeping your leather looking natural, soft, and properly maintained. It is ideal for use on leather furniture, car interiors, handbags, jackets, and other leather goods.

Directions for Use:

  1. Shake well. Pour a small amount of Soft Cleaner onto a clean sponge and gently squeeze to create foam. Cleaning with foam keeps the leather cleaner on the surface where it is needed and prevents over-wetting.
  2. Apply the foam to the leather surface. Allow a few moments for the foam to dissolve dirt, then gently wipe with a clean white cloth. Do not rub or scrub. Let the cleaner do the work. Aggressive scrubbing can damage the leather’s surface or push dirt deeper into the fibers.
  3. After cleaning, always apply Leather Master Protection Cream to restore protection and extend the life of the leather.

If stains remain, repeat the process. For heavier soiling, a stronger Leather Master cleaner may be required.

Important Colorfastness Information:

  • If leather is not colorfast to liquids, even distilled water may remove dye. Test first by wiping with a soft white cloth dampened with distilled water. If color transfers, avoid liquid cleaning.
  • If the leather appears darker after cleaning, it is extremely absorbent and has slightly contracted. The color has not changed — the pigment particles are simply closer together. Gently stretching the leather in multiple directions will restore its original appearance.
