I have not finished the repair, just done a first filling to some of the worst cracks. The product may be fine—I hope so—but your instructions are quite inadequate. Prepare leather with 'right preparer'? What's that? Fill scratch—using a brush? Can it be washed & with what? Use a Q-tip (I did)? Plastic knife? "When dry"—any estimate of how long that takes? Apply the 'right finish'—what's that? Rewrite your instructions?

I had some splits on my seat and the patch worked well, but showed some waves from applying with a brush and some water to help smooth out the application. It dried a bit wavy in parts, but I can live with it and seems to have ample flex to avoid cracking. I didn't quite understand sanding since when I used fine grit, it seemed to pull the filler off the leather, so I stayed away from sanding. Personally, it was probably me and not the product. All in all, satisfied with the results and really like the dye. Matched really well and the interior looks great!
