Bring that leather couch or vinyl car seat to like-new condition using this easy kit. Discoloring and natural wear is a common complaint with leather or vinyl furniture but can be fixed with this simple Recolor Kit. Just mix the color to match the leather, test it on the provided scrap material, apply and let dry!Kit contains:
- 7 Colors (white, black, red, yellow, blue, brown and green)
- Mixing cup
STEP 1 - Prepare Surface:
Clean the area to be recolored or touched up with a non soapy cleaner. Make sure the area is completely dry before using the color dyes. Rubbing Alcohol works well to remove oily residue.
STEP 2 - Mix Color:
Use the spatula to transfer the desired color into the mixing bottle. Mix the color until you achieve the desired color; test color on scrap vinyl material included.
Add a few drops of water. Mix well. Test the color on a practice vinyl before applying it to the article you are re-coloring.
*Make sure the color is mixed thoroughly.
STEP 3 - Apply Color:
For best results: Use foam applicator or brush to apply color. Apply color in thin layers, allowing each layer to dry. It may take 1-3 coats to get the coverage you desire. Allow 24 hours to completely dry.
STEP 4 - Apply Clear Finish:
After the color is completely dry: Use a paper towel and apply an even and smooth coat of Clear Finish over the color. Allow to dry.

Dye had worn off some of the seams on our leather sofa. Used the leather kit and it completely covered those areas and you cannot even tell it’s been covered. Saved us from needing to purchase a new sofa. Very pleased with this product and highly recommend.
I had some worn places on our 8 yr old dark brown leather sofa and recliner. I mixed the brown and black touch-up at a 2:1 ratio and applied 3 light coats. Color matched perfectly. You can not see where I applied the touch-up.
Having a small rip your kit was fine and did the job
