I am a novice who undertook a pretty advanced project to repair a 6-8 inch tear on the arm of my beloved 23 year old leather sectional. I started by ordering the subpatch and leather adhesive to see if was even possible for such a large tear to hold. I was successful in the first step so I proceeded to order the leather filler, 2 different colors or the dye colorant, a sponge and palette knife. Neither of the dye colorant was exactly the right taupe color but when I mixed them 50/50 it was perfect. Over the course of 2 days, I colored the worn areas first, then tinted the filler with the dye colorant and applied 2 coats 24 hours apart to fill in a couple gaps and the seams when I repaired the tear. I am shocked and amazed at the outcome. It's barely noticeable! In total these products cost about $100 and saved me hundreds in professional repairs and thousands if I were to try and replace the sectional at today prices. I love Leather World Technologies! I am so glad I found this site and the ordering and shipping was super fast and easy. I am so proud I was able to achieve the results I did and could not have done it without all these wonderful products. Thank You Leather World Technologies. You should include the plastic pallet knife. So far so good, will be applying the protectorate this Thursday. It looks outstanding for a DIY job!
